We are looking for an experienced and proactive Accounts Payable Manager to join our corporate office team If you're passionate about finance, leadership, and process improvement, this role is an exciting opportunity to oversee the Accounts Payable function for Ascott's portfolio of hotels and contribute to the company's growth.


About You:

You're an experienced Accounts Payable professional with a keen eye for accuracy and a drive for process improvement. A natural leader, you bring out the best in your team and are skilled in managing AP operations. You're proactive, adaptable to change, and ready to enhance efficiency in a dynamic, growth-focused environment.

Key Responsibilies:
  • Oversee the Accounts Payable (AP) function for Ascott's corporate office, managing a team of three AP Officers to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
  • Supervise day-to-day AP activities, oversee expense reimbursement processes, and act as the primary contact for Workday reimbursement claims and credit card management.
  • Collaborate with the Procurement team to ensure accurate vendor maintenance and timely supplier payments.
  • Implement effective controls within AP, monitor performance against KPIs, and prepare monthly reports (e.g., aged creditor listings, average days to pay).
  • Take charge of process improvements, including the integration of document control software (M-Files) and Purchase+ software implementation across our hotel portfolio.
  • Provide strong leadership to your team, ensuring professional growth, effective communication, and a culture that aligns with Ascott's values.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in Accounts Payable, preferably within a corporate or hotel setting.
  • Leadership experience with the ability to mentor and develop a team.
  • Strong knowledge of AP controls, vendor management, and reconciliation processes.
  • Experience with software integration (e.g., Oracle, M-Files, Purchase+) and an interest in process improvement.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with a focus on enhancing efficiency and accuracy.
