The Role

Our client is looking for a Web Developer with strong front-end engineering experience to work on web-based tools and SDKs that power advertising and configuration systems across TV, operator, and OTT environments. The role combines hands-on web development with API integration and light backend work in a cloud-based environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, enhance, and maintain web SDKs and tools used across multiple device platforms.
  • Build and improve web-based configuration UIs for internal teams and partners.
  • Integrate front-end experiences with cloud backend services (Cloud Functions, REST APIs, Firestore, BigQuery).
  • Work closely with designers and product owners to bring responsive UI/UX designs to life.
  • Manage complex DOM interactions and HTML5-based dynamic environments.
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and testing frameworks.
  • Collaborate with backend engineers on data models, APIs, and architecture.
  • Contribute to decisions on SDK modularity, configuration, and performance.

Skills and Experience

  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript / TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3, with experience using modern frameworks such as React, Vue, or similar.
  • Proven ability to build and integrate RESTful APIs, with a solid understanding of Firebase (Hosting, Authentication, Firestore).
  • Skilled in debugging, DOM manipulation, and developing responsive, performant web applications.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and modern testing frameworks.
  • Working knowledge of js or serverless functions, and exposure to NoSQL databases such as Firestore or BigQuery.
  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) including Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, BigQuery, and IAM, along with knowledge of advertising or measurement SDKs (DoubleVerify, IAS, OMID), exposure to Android WebView or TV app integration with basic Android development understanding, and proven ability to collaborate effectively with UI/UX designers and cross-functional teams- desirable although not mandatory.
