Our 60+ specialists work across 6 time zones, with leadership, sales, and digital marketing teams based in Perth and Sydney.

We closed our on-site offices and moved to an entirely remote work model before "COVID" was even a word, which means we have the infrastructure, processes, and experience to ensure that our team has as much support as one would expect from working in an on-site office.

The Opportunity

• You will be managing the development of web projects - mostly WordPress and Shopify.
• Our clients are from a wide range of industries, including lifestyle brands, hospitality, professional services, education, and mining resources.
• We are not seeking developers, and you do not need any hands-on experience with coding.
• We prefer someone who has exceptional client/project management skills over someone with a highly technical background.

You will be the bridge between the client and the development team

• You should live and breathe digital.
• You should have an exceptional eye for modern web design, and understand the cultural context of what engages people online - UI design skills are preferred but not mandatory.
• You should understand the web development process, however we prefer someone with amazing client management skills rather than someone who can discuss why Linux is far superior to Mac OS.
• You should have an understanding of fundamental project management processes, and the willingness to learn the processes on which we train you.

Our ideal candidate

• Will have an exceptional eye for detail when managing scope requirements, client agreements and, of course, pixels.
• Is experienced with managing budgets, timelines, and quality control.
• Has the confidence and engaging personality to deal with clients.
• Has the communication skills required to speak in simple-terms with clients, and technical-terms with the dev team.
• Can write and speak in a clear, concise, and methodical manner (think: single minded points, numbered lists, quick meetings, no fluff).
• Will work proactively and own projects.
• Will be exceptional with time management - we operate under time-based billing, so time is literally money.
• Is dependable, organised, and can manage themselves while working remotely.

You will be working remotely, as a contractor

• Our entire team works this way, including Directors.
• We are a time-based business, and you will be paid by the hour, based on time logs - we provide clients time-based estimates, you do the work and log the time, the client pays us for the time, we pay you for the time.
• As a contractor you will not be entitled to employee benefits, however our rates are very fair.
• We have a high retention rate for team members - some of us have worked with Concise for 15 years.
• You will be engaged as a remote contractor, but the support and communication will feel like an on-site office - imagine working from your own private agency office, it just happens to be at your house.

What you will need

• A professional home office - we are not seeking digital nomads.
• A computer and large external display.
• High speed internet.
• Ability to work uninterrupted during Perth business hours - this is not a role to fill in free time from another job.
• We offer semi-flexible work hours, however we prefer someone who is available during most business hours, give-or-take a couple hours, rather than someone who will have a shifting schedule.

We are not seeking applications from head hunters, digital nomads, or individuals outside of Perth.
