What we are looking for.

We are seeking a talented Front-End Developer with a passion for delivering innovative solutions to join our fully funded startup team and play a key role in the development of our innovative platform.

Reporting to the Product Manager, you'll be part of a tightly knit, highly passionate and driven team. Working alongside talented UI and backend developers, you'll collaborate closely to deliver a world-class solution that sets a new benchmark for digitisation in the industrial sector.

What you'll bring to the table (Skills).

Technical Excellence (Required):

• Modern Frontend Expertise: Proficiency in modern JavaScript/TypeScript, state management patterns, and performance optimization techniques. As well as HTML, CSS, typescript, browser APIs.
• Familiarity with Web Components: Experience with building and using Web Components, utilising shadow DOM and encapsulated styling as part of a larger application / framework.

• Modern Development Processes: Awareness of / experience in:

• Version Control: Git fluency, branching strategies, and pull request etiquette.

• Bundlers: Vite, Webpack, etc.
• CI/CD: Familiarity with pipelines, build steps, and deployment workflows.

Technical Excellence (Preferred):

• Full-Stack Experience: Experience in Designing and implementing scalable web applications with modern tech stacks (Svelte/React/Vue + C#/.NET).
• Backend Mastery: Experience building RESTful APIs with C#/.NET, implementing secure authentication, and working with ORMs and relational databases.
• DevOps & Infrastructure: Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code practices.
• Testing & Quality: Proven track record implementing comprehensive testing strategies (unit, integration, E2E) and maintaining high code coverage.

Teamwork, Collaboration & Problem Solving:

• Cross-functional Communication: Ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders and collaborate effectively with product, design, and business teams.
• Strategic Thinking: Capacity to balance technical debt, feature development, and structural decisions while aligning with business objectives of a rapidly moving start up.
• Problem-Solving Excellence: Track record of producing pragmatic solutions to technical challenges.

What you'll be doing (Responsibilities)

Product Development:

• Own Feature implementation: Take ownership of features from technical design through deployment and testing.
• Collaborate on Product Strategy: Partner with product managers and designers to shape the product roadmap and user experience.
• Optimise Performance: Continuously improve application performance, scalability, and reliability metrics.
• Ensure Security: Implement and maintain security best practices across the stack.

Operations & Growth:

• Build for Scale: Design systems that can handle very large growth while maintaining performance and reliability.
• Streamline Development: Improve development workflows, automate repetitive tasks, and enhance team productivity.
• Customer-Centric Development: Engage with key customers to understand their needs and translate feedback into technical solutions.
