About the Role

As our Salesforce Developer, you'll be the driving force behind customising, optimising, and innovating our Salesforce ecosystem. You'll play a key role in ensuring Salesforce supports our staff, volunteers, and partners to achieve meaningful outcomes every day.

You'll work across the full development lifecycle—translating user needs into elegant technical solutions, maintaining best practices, and championing a smooth, user-friendly experience for all.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy custom Salesforce solutions (Apex, Lightning Components, Flows, etc.)
  • Work closely with stakeholders to identify system requirements and translate them into scalable configurations
  • Manage integrations between Salesforce and other applications or systems
  • Maintain data accuracy, security, and performance through proactive monitoring and documentation
  • Collaborate with administrators and analysts to improve functionality and enhance user adoption
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and champion innovation within the CRM environment

About You

You're a creative problem-solver with a knack for turning complex data structures into delightfully efficient systems. You care about doing good work for a good cause, and you enjoy working in an environment where collaboration and curiosity thrive.

Essential skills and experience:

  • Proven experience as a Salesforce Developer (Salesforce Platform Developer I certification or equivalent experience)
  • Solid skills in Apex, SOQL, Lightning Web Components, and Flow automation
  • Experience integrating Salesforce with external APIs or platforms
  • Understanding of data modelling, security, and system architecture in Salesforce
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
