We are a well-established accounting firm located in Burwood East, Victoria for over 25 years, we are providing comprehensive accounting and taxation services for small to medium-sized businesses across a range of industries. About the role

You will play a crucial role in providing high-quality accounting and customer services to our diverse client base.

  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records for clients, including accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger entries;
  • Preparing quarterly BAS, annual Financial Reports, and Tax returns;
  • Assisting clients in contacting ATO and other government authorities;
  • To be a member of the team to support each other within our practice.
  • Continues in professional development in accounting and taxation regulations

What we're looking for

  • Tertiary or equivalent qualification in Accounting or a related field
  • Experience in an Accountant role within a public practice or small business environment will be preferred and prioritized.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to provide practical solutions
  • Proficient in using accounting software, such as MYOB, Xero, or QuickBooks
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients`
  • Mandarin speaking is required
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
