Business Analyst (Multiple Positions)

Location: Canberra

Contract: Multi-Year, Commencing December 2025

Clearance: Must hold or be eligible to obtain an Australian Government Security Clearance (Australian citizenship required, Sponsored by Cynosure Consulting Group)

Cynosure Consulting Group is seeking multiple experienced Business Analysts with 5+ years' experience in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) projects to join a dedicated team of around eight professionals. You will play a key role in preparing the Estate and Infrastructure business domain for a transition from an existing legacy platform to a future-state ERP system (SAP).

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyse and document current business processes, workflows, and data for the Estate and Infrastructure domain.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business needs, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Facilitate communication between IT teams and business operations, ensuring alignment of solutions with organisational goals.
  • Conduct role mapping, process re-engineering, and requirements gathering for ERP integration.
  • Liaise with stakeholders across 19 business areas to ensure the new ERP system meets functional requirements and delivers value.
  • Support the Estate and Infrastructure team in achieving future capability objectives by ensuring solutions are fit-for-purpose and strategically aligned.

About You

  • Minimum 5 years' experience as a Business Analyst on large-scale ERP programs.
  • Strong analytical skills with proven ability to gather, interpret, and present data effectively.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with experience influencing at all organisational levels.
  • Ability to work within complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
  • Canberra-based, with the ability to obtain (or already holding) an Australian Government Security Clearance.

Mandatory Requirement

Due to the nature of the work, only Australian citizens eligible for a security clearance will be considered. Security clearance sponsorship is available for successful candidates.
