Remote is seeking Business Analysts to join the team in Home Affairs. The Business Analyst will be responsible, under the general guidance of a Senior Business Analyst / Program Manager, for investigating, analyzing, reviewing, and documenting all or part of a business in terms of goals, objectives, functions, processes, information, and data.
Role DescriptionThe Business Analyst will define requirements to improve processes and systems, reduce costs, enhance sustainability, and quantify potential benefits. The role involves creating and iterating specifications and acceptance criteria for deploying information and communication systems. The approach may be predictive (plan-driven) or adaptive (iterative/agile), depending on the context.
- Investigate complex and ambiguous business situations.
- Identify problems and opportunities using a holistic view.
- Assist in selecting analysis approaches and techniques.
- Conduct root cause analysis and recommend improvements, engaging with stakeholders.
Mandatory Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
Desirable Qualifications:
- IIBA Entry Certificate in Business Analysis (ECBA)
- IIBA Certification of Capability in Business Analysis (CCBA)
- IIBA Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP)
Knowledge/Experience and Tools:
- At least 3 years of Business Analysis experience
