We are seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst to support the delivery and improvement of a large-scale grants management system built on Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM. This role will focus on bridging the gap between business needs and technical delivery, ensuring that system enhancements, integrations, and business processes align with organisational goals.

The successful candidate will play a key role in engaging with stakeholders, refining requirements, and supporting the delivery of system capabilities that improve business outcomes, particularly in grants administration, reporting, and program management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with a wide range of business stakeholders to understand business processes, needs, and pain points.
  • Elicit, document, and validate business and solution requirements to ensure they meet organisational goals.
  • Collaborate with product owners, project managers, developers, and testers to ensure requirements are understood and achievable.
  • Assist in shaping features, user stories, and acceptance criteria within an Agile delivery environment.
  • Support the design and delivery of CRM-based solutions (Dynamics 365), ensuring they meet user and business needs.
  • Facilitate workshops, focus groups, and collaborative sessions to align understanding across business and technical teams.
  • Assist with prioritising work items, refining the product backlog, and contributing to sprint planning and reviews.
  • Work alongside business and technical teams to support integration activities, data migration efforts, and the transition away from legacy systems.
Essential Skills & Experience
  • Strong experience as a Business Analyst or Technical Business Analyst, ideally in CRM-focused projects.
  • Proven ability to work effectively with both business stakeholders and technical teams.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM or similar CRM platforms, including an understanding of how they support key business functions.
  • Experience working within Agile delivery environments, supporting iterative design, development, and release cycles.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, including the ability to facilitate workshops and explain technical concepts in business terms.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex business needs into actionable requirements.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities, demonstrate resilience, and remain adaptable in dynamic environments.
