About The Role
Joining the Sunfam team as a
Fabrication and Installation Technician
, you will be joining Bundaberg's leading retailer in agricultural products. In this varied role, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling pipework and irrigation equipment – both in our workshop and on client sites.

Responsibilities:
As a
Fabrication and Installation Technician
, you will:

  • Read and interpret technical drawings/ blueprints of irrigation systems
  • Perform welding on various metals and materials for the fabrication and repair of irrigation system components (e.g., pipes, fittings, supports, valves, etc.)
  • Collaborate with project teams to assemble and install irrigation equipment and systems
  • Maintain welding equipment, tools, and materials in good working order
  • Welding components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment

About you:
To succeed at Sunfam, you have:

  • Demonstrated knowledge of welding techniques, including MIG, TIG and Stick
  • Ability to read and interpret a variety of blueprints
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to work as a team
  • Current driver's license and reliable vehicle
  • MR or HR licence an advantage
  • Forklift Licence an advantage
