About the role

In this role you join as a Director of a national consulting firm, responsible for leading complex transformation programs across Federal & State Government. You will specialise in large scale reform that includes redesigning delivery models, building business cases, shaping operating models and improving end to end services. The work often sits in environments like social services or health where case management is complex and clients need clarity structure and a clear path to better outcomes. You will guide programs from strategy through to implementation and work closely with executives to set direction strengthen governance and make sure delivery stays on track.

To be successful you will bring strong Big 4 consulting experience, deep public sector knowledge and the ability to cut through complexity quickly. You need to be comfortable working across strategy design financial analysis delivery and service improvement with a calm hands on leadership style. You will also play a key role in growing the Perth practice by supporting people developing capability and building trusted long term client relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Lead major transformation programs across the full lifecycle from discovery through to implementation
  • Redesign delivery models and operating models that support modern public sector service delivery
  • Develop business cases and secure funding for programs of work
  • Build governance structures and implementation plans that keep programs on track
  • Oversee critical cost modelling and financial analysis to support decision making
  • Improve services through service design human centred approaches and outcome driven thinking
  • Engage with senior leaders across government and government owned entities
  • Manage account performance including delivery quality sales pipeline and client satisfaction
  • Shape strategy for the Perth practice and support growth across the WA market
  • Coach and develop a high performing team and create a culture of quality delivery

About you

  • 15-20 years experience leading large scale transformation programs from strategy through to implementation
  • Strong background developing Big4 consulting practice by working with Federal Government, State Government and/or a Government owned entities (social services, health or complex service environments are highly regarded)
  • Proven ability to develop business practice through building relationships, winning work and creating a steady pipeline of transformation projects
  • Ability to develop business cases and secure funding for major public sector programs
  • Deep understanding of governance frameworks and the ability to build structures that keep programs on track
  • Confident engaging senior leaders across government and government owned entities
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to shape market growth and build a practice in WA
  • Proven experience leading coaching and developing high performing teams
  • Ability to manage account performance including delivery quality pipeline growth and client satisfaction
  • Ability to work in ambiguity simplify complex problems and create clear practical solutions
  • Completed a Bachelor Degree (or higher)
  • Active NV1 Security Clearance (or higher)
