We work with clients across the entire project life cycle — from initial planning studies through final construction and operations and maintenance services — on both traditional and alternative project-delivery options (design-build, public-private partnerships and financing).

Job Description

AECOM's Water business line is seeking an engaging and collaborative Sector Manager to join our Perth office. In this key leadership role, you'll help drive market growth, strengthen client relationships, and support the continued development of our talented team in Western Australia.

You'll have the opportunity to collaborate with specialists across Australia, New Zealand, and globally, building your professional profile and shaping a rewarding career that makes a real difference.

How you'll make a difference

  • Lead the execution and growth of the water sector strategy in Western Australia, driving client engagement, market differentiation, and successful project delivery across the region.
  • Ensure technical and delivery excellence, maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, governance, and client satisfaction.
  • Foster collaboration and team growth, mentoring staff, championing digital innovation, and building strong relationships with clients and industry partners.
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement, leveraging regional and global expertise to implement best practices and enhance delivery outcomes.

  • A relevant tertiary degree & CPEng.
  • A passion for mentoring, leadership & collaboration.

  • Commercial and strategic acumen, with the ability to make informed decisions that balance profitability, efficiency, and market insight.
