The Organisation

Key Responsibilities

Key responsibilities will be largely procurement-based with some operational support. This will include: 

  • Coordinate meetings with potential suppliers and evaluation panels.
  • Organise meetings and events, such as vendor briefings.
  • Use your exceptional communication skills to contribute to  discussions and negotiations with suppliers while supporting internal stakeholders
  • Draft procurement documentation and reports to support the Program Director.
  • Maintain procurement records and liaise with external advisors.
  • Set up administrative files and templates to support negotiations and contract management.
  • Analyse data across multiple systems to support client needs.
  • Apply continuous improvement practices to enhance procurement processes.
  • Support system testing and appraisals to ensure effective internal controls.
  • Undertake administrative tasks to maintain operational efficiency.

Ideal Experience:

  • Prior experience in government procurement, with exposure to platforms such as VendorPanel (formerly QTenders), will provide a significant competitive advantage.
  • Exposure to ICT projects will be advantageous, but is not mandatory.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills to support internal stakeholders, external suppliers, and contractors effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Comfortable engaging with stakeholders and coordinating logistics.
