Key Responsibilities
Key responsibilities will be largely procurement-based with some operational support. This will include:
- Coordinate meetings with potential suppliers and evaluation panels.
- Organise meetings and events, such as vendor briefings.
- Use your exceptional communication skills to contribute to discussions and negotiations with suppliers while supporting internal stakeholders
- Draft procurement documentation and reports to support the Program Director.
- Maintain procurement records and liaise with external advisors.
- Set up administrative files and templates to support negotiations and contract management.
- Analyse data across multiple systems to support client needs.
- Apply continuous improvement practices to enhance procurement processes.
- Support system testing and appraisals to ensure effective internal controls.
- Undertake administrative tasks to maintain operational efficiency.
Ideal Experience:
- Prior experience in government procurement, with exposure to platforms such as VendorPanel (formerly QTenders), will provide a significant competitive advantage.
- Exposure to ICT projects will be advantageous, but is not mandatory.
- Strong organisational and communication skills to support internal stakeholders, external suppliers, and contractors effectively.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Comfortable engaging with stakeholders and coordinating logistics.
