Solution Architect – Contract Opportunity

I am currently seeking a Solution Architect to join a major program of work, focused on delivering conceptual and logical solution architecture outcomes across a number of enterprise initiatives. This role will sit within a large Architecture & Governance environment and will work closely with internal delivery teams including development, applications, platforms, networks, cyber security, identity, integration and project delivery.

1 Year Contract

Key responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing and recommending architecture across enhancements to enterprise solutions
  • Reducing technical debt and planning transitions across hybrid cloud and public cloud environments
  • Assisting with transition to cloud-based solutions where appropriate
  • Providing recommendations on future technology directions and patterns
  • Supporting all phases of the architecture lifecycle

What we are looking for:

  • Solid experience with TOGAF, ITIL and Development Frameworks
  • Strong working knowledge of enterprise standards and architecture governance
  • Experienced in leading solution architecture for complex, integrated environments
  • Ability to establish criteria for component selection and drive consistency across solution design

Mandatory experience:

  • Minimum recent 5 years in Solution Architecture
  • Experience designing on-prem / cloud / hybrid solutions (Microsoft focused tech stack preferred)
  • Proven ability to deliver multiple concurrent initiatives
  • Ability to produce roadmaps and patterns aligned to strategic direction
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication and negotiation skills
