Specialist Equipment Operator

The role & you

MidCoast Council is seeking a skilled Plant Operator to join our Operations North team. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of specialist plant and equipment to support the construction and maintenance of roads, bridges, and drainage infrastructure across the region.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience operating backhoes, skid steers, and graders, with a strong focus on safety, reliability, and teamwork. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the delivery of essential community services and be part of a dedicated and professional team.

Salary:Commencing salary package range circa $62,779 to $69,057 p.a. plus superannuation. (Dependent on skills and experience.)

Location:Upon commencement your normal place of work will be the MidCoast Council Depot located on Arkwright Crescent, Taree 2430. You may also be required to be based from other Council sites across the MidCoast Council region.

Tenure: Permanent, Full Time.
