MPDT is a local vegetation management company that operates throughout Queensland.

We have positions available for Vegetation Maintenance Operators to join our Open Space team in **South Brisbane.**

**The role**

You will be an essential part of our vegetation maintenance crews, safely operating specialised equipment to maintain vegetation along the rail corridor network.

**About you**

Be a confident self-starter that is safety conscious and willing to develop and grow your capabilities.

To be successful in this role, you must have prior experience in grass cutting, MPDT will provide all other relevant training and tickets for the role.

**Qualifications / Tickets**
- Experience with equipment operations & maintenance (zero turn mowers, tractor slashers, brush-cutters, chainsaws
- Tractor and slasher tickets or experience
- MR truck license
- Experience in weed identification
- Experience & knowledge in use of handling agriculture chemicals
- ACDC license
- Manual car license
- Ability to pass a police check
- General Construction Induction Card (White Card)

Pay: $23.23 - $42.50 per hour

Expected hours: 38 - 48 per week
