Greater Brisbane Area, Australia Retained Full time $20,288 - $60,864 per year

Our client is a large government department delivering a cyber uplift program and is seeking a Cyber Business Analyst to play a key role in shaping and implementing critical security initiatives across the enterprise. This is an initial contract through to the end of February 2026, based in Carseldine with 50% WFH, paying up to $115.52 per hour inclusive of superannuation.

Responsibilities

  • Analyse and document business, functional, and non-functional requirements for cyber security solutions and applications, ensuring delivery of effective and integrated technical solutions.
  • Prepare system requirement specifications, functional and technical design artefacts, support documentation, and procedural materials to capture and maintain critical intellectual property.
  • Identify, document, and validate system interfaces and interconnectivity requirements to enable integration partners to leverage both existing and new security solutions.
  • Engage and consult with key stakeholders, including technical SMEs, governance groups, and vendors, to gather, clarify, and confirm requirements across the program.
  • Support the planning, piloting, and deployment of cyber security technologies and tools, ensuring they are embedded effectively within a large-scale enterprise environment.
  • Provide guidance, analysis, and advice to project managers, business analysts, and technical teams within a matrix program environment to ensure alignment of deliverables.
  • Manage assigned deliverables against agreed schedules, proactively monitoring risks, issues, and dependencies to maintain program progress.

The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience in delivering cyber security uplift initiatives within complex enterprise environments, with expertise in MDM, endpoint, and device security being highly desirable. For more information, contact
