As a Consultant Protective Security, you will be part of the Group Security team, that's moves with speed.

Each day, you'll go above and beyond to:

• Support and contribute to the deployment and operation of NAB's physical security policies and procedures, with a focus on protective security and physical security operations.
• Provide security advice and guidance on executive protection, travel security, event security and incident response.
• Support and provide guidance to the Security Operations Centre (SOC) for operational security matters and critical incidents, including participation in a rostered 24-hour on-call arrangement.
• Conduct security risk assessments, apply controls to mitigate identified risks, leads intelligence gathering and analysis to produce threat assessments, reviews incident data to identify trends, and collaborate across internal and external forums to strengthen NAB's protective security posture.
• Respond to security incidents, ensuring appropriate actions are taken to enhance staff safety and mitigate risks.
• Design, implement, and maintain complex security plans tailored to evolving threat landscapes.
• Collaborate with law enforcement and external stakeholders on security operations and incident response coordination.
• Assist with intelligence analysis, identifying emerging threats and providing forward-looking risk insights.

We're looking for the best and brightest to deliver the best for our customers. You'll need:

• Demonstrated experience working in a similar Protective Security role with experience in protective security, risk management, law enforcement and / or military.
• Proven ability to conduct security risk assessments in alignment with recognised standards.
• Familiarity with government legislative frameworks and practical experience applying relevant documents.
• Demonstrated experience liaising with law enforcement and external agencies.
• Strong understanding of international and domestic security environments, including their impact on travellers, staff, and organisational operations.
• Experience providing security guidance on personal safety, workplace threats, and criminal matters.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and proven track record in developing and maintaining procedural documentation.
• Solid understanding of physical security operations and risk management principles.
• Expertise in security risk management and competence in intelligence analysis and information gathering.
• Ability to engage stakeholders and manage relationships effectively.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking skills and resilience.
