About the Role

As a Consultant/Senior Consultant Microsoft Security, you will be responsible for developing and implementing security solutions within Microsoft environment across Customer's environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and deliver Microsoft security projects from planning to execution.
  • Design and implement security controls across Microsoft Entra ID, On-Prem AD, and Azure environments.
  • Deploy and manage Microsoft Defender for Cloud and Defender for Office 365.
  • Implement Microsoft Purview Information Protection policies and data governance.
  • Architect and operationalize Zero Trust security frameworks.
  • Conduct risk assessments, gap analysis, and remediation planning.
  • Collaborate with customer's internal teams and clients to ensure secure cloud and hybrid environments.
  • Stay current with Microsoft security technologies and best practices.
  • Regularly publish articles and blogs on our company's website and social media.
  • Conducting Research on the recent Microsoft Security Capabilities
  • Develop new Microsoft Service offering with a go-to-market

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in Microsoft security technologies and cloud platforms.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), On-Prem AD, and hybrid identity setups.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft with Focus on Microsoft365, Defender suite and Purview.
  • Solid understanding of Azure Architecture
  • Solid grasp of Zero Trust principles and implementation strategies.
  • Background in System Administration or Cloud Engineering with a security focus.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Qualification

  • Microsoft Certified (e.g., SC-200, SC-300, AZ-500, MS-500).
  • Experience with Microsoft Active Directory, Conditional Access, Identity Protection, and Privileged Identity Management.
  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, etc.).
  • Experience in consulting or client-facing roles is a bonus.
  • Other certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH) are a plus

This is a full-time role located in Melbourne with work from home flexibility, you must have working right in Australia.
