The role

Reporting to the Executive Sous Chef, the
full-time Chef de Cuisine
will oversee daily operations in the In-Room Dining kitchen. This leadership role is responsible for guiding a professional culinary team, ensuring the kitchen functions as a successful profit centre through effective organisation, direction, and control of production and administration, in line with Crown's standards and policies. The Chef de Cuisine also plays a key role in supporting and implementing culinary operations aligned with concept statements, while delivering on financial and team performance targets.

About you

  • Experience managing a 24/7 operation
  • Background in luxury hotels is highly desirable
  • Skilled in preparing international cuisine
  • Able to lead by example and inspire a diverse team of culinary professionals
  • Proven ability to understand and meet the needs of internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong financial acumen, organisational skills, and clear communication
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and solution-focused
  • Comfortable using tech applications such as Microsoft Windows, Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and HACCP
  • Relevant hospitality qualification in Commercial Cookery or equivalent
