About the Role:

You are a proactive hands on person.  Leading a crew in the delivery of small roadworks upgrades, carparks, civil stormwater and similar infrastructure in Brisbane, Northern Gold Coast and Ipswich.

About You:

  • Must have relevant experience
  • Must be able to show and demonstrate relevant experience
  • Must have references
  • Organised onsite with crew and paperwork
  • Be physically fit
  • Have excellent communication skills, be reliable and punctual
  • Take pride in your work
  • Show initiative and be able to motivate and direct small crews

You must be able to do:

  • Own transport and current license (vehicle offered after probationary period)
  • Ensure safety and quality requirements are met
  • Relevant plant tickets
  • Drive productivity, programme and team
  • Read and follow drawings and specifications
  • Chair Daily Pre-Start Meetings and Toolbox Meetings and record accordingly
  • Paperwork and reporting as required by the project
  • Assist Site Managers in completing required documentation such as ITP's, Safety and Environmental forms.
  • Assist Site Manager in monitoring the quality of work being performed on site and that it meets the requirements of the project.
  • Assist, and when required, be responsible for the implementation of Inspection & Test Plans.

The successful person will be made permanent subsequent to satisfactory completion of probationary period.
