About the role

As a Used Car Sales Person at Nick's Motors, you will be responsible for selling high-quality pre-owned vehicles to different types of customers. This full-time role is crucial in helping the company achieve its sales targets and grow its customer base. You will work on-site at our Rouse Hill or Minchinbury dealership inside the Car City complex, engaging directly with prospective buyers to understand their needs and match them with the perfect used car.

What you'll be doing

  • Actively engage with customers, both in-person and over the phone, to understand their vehicle requirements and preferences
  • Demonstrate vehicles to customers, highlighting key features and benefits
  • Negotiate prices and close sales, while maintaining a transparent and trustworthy relationship with customers
  • Process sale paperwork and handle all administrative tasks related to each vehicle transaction
  • Stay up-to-date with the inventory of available used cars and their respective features and pricing
  • Collaborate with the wider sales team to achieve individual and team sales targets
  • Provide exceptional customer service and build long-lasting relationships with clients

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience in a sales role, preferably within the automotive industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and build rapport with customers
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills to close sales effectively
  • Familiarity with used car inventory, pricing, and industry trends
  • A passion for the automotive industry and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service
  • Ability to work as part of a team and contribute to the overall sales performance of the dealership
