About the role

This full-time Warehouse Manager role at Skinkandy offers an exciting opportunity to oversee the efficient operations of our busy distribution centre in Maroochydore, QLD. As the Warehouse Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring the timely and accurate fulfilment of customer orders while maintaining high standards of safety, compliance, and continuous improvement within our warehouse operations.

What you'll be doing

  • Manage and lead a team of warehouse operatives, ensuring they are trained, motivated and working efficiently

  • Oversee the receipt, storage, picking, packing and dispatch of all products and materials

  • Implement and monitor warehouse processes and procedures to maximise productivity and minimise errors

  • Analyse warehouse data and generate reports to identify opportunities for improvement

  • Maintain a safe and compliant warehouse environment, adhering to all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations

  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure the warehouse is meeting the company's operational and customer service objectives

  • Proactively identify and resolve any issues or bottlenecks in the warehouse workflow

What we're looking for

  • Significant experience as a Warehouse Manager or in a similar senior warehousing role

  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team

  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical and decision-making abilities

  • Proficient in warehouse management systems and inventory control processes

  • Thorough understanding of warehouse safety regulations and best practices

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

  • A commitment to continuous improvement and driving operational excellence
