We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst/Engineer to join our team in Maroochydore. You will work with various data sources to uncover insights, identify trends, and develop analysis that shapes our strategic decisions. The role involves collaboration across departments, occasional national travel, and creating innovative reporting solutions that meet customer needs while enhancing business performance.

Responsibilities- Provide analysis, modeling, and insights to support decision-making and strategic initiatives.
- Design and maintain datasets based on business requirements, considering customer, product, and transactional data.
- Identify and resolve data gaps or anomalies, contributing to our data maturity.
- Create engaging visualizations and presentations to communicate key messages.
- Collaborate with Performance & Insights, Customer Experience, and Claims teams on customer-centric initiatives.
- Establish governance, methodology, and delivery processes.
- 3+ years' experience in Data Modeling within a Data Warehouse/Lakehouse environment.
- Experience in Financial Services, particularly General Insurance, is highly regarded.
- Advanced SQL skills for solving analytical problems.
- Experience with programming languages and tools such as SAS, SQL, AWS, Databricks, Python, R, Scala, etc.
- Proficiency with data visualization tools like Power BI.
- Experience building data marts or data modeling for organizations (desirable).
- Ability to manage performance using quantitative and qualitative metrics.
- Experience in Cloud ETL development using Databricks, PySpark, Spark SQL, and Notebooks.
