About us

We are looking for a full-time pharmacist to join our growing pharmacy team.

We are a non-PBS private pharmacy with no S2/S3 OTC shopfront. We work in collaboration with local and interstate prescribers and other health professionals to provide patient-centred therapy and health outcomes. We are committed to the development and delivery of the finest compounded formulations to enhance the health and well-being of our customers. We have now completed our expansion for the pharmacy with a new reception area and an addition of 3 laboratories, including an analytical testing laboratory.

You will be working in collaboration with our 7 pharmacists, 1 intern, 9 laboratory technicians and 9 front office staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee dispensary workflow and ensure accurate and efficient prescription dispensing.
  • Professional patient counselling and providing individually tailored health solutions
  • Dispensary inventory and DD management
  • Build and maintain relationships with doctors and other healthcare professionals
  • Clinical trial document and investigational product (IP) preparation
  • Compounding (general & aseptic)
  • Analytical lab

Work-related Requirements

Essential:

  • Tertiary qualification in Pharmacy and eligible for registration by the Pharmacy Board of Australia.
  • Navigate the pharmacy operational requirements, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and best practices.
  • Demonstrated pharmacy experience, knowledge and skills and ability to work within a multidisciplinary setting.
  • Demonstrated leadership, team building, time management and organisational skills when planning, providing and monitoring pharmacy services.
  • Demonstrated high level interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail with high levels of accuracy and data entry.

Desirable:

  • Proficient in CompoundDirect, RxONE, or FRED Dispense and Microsoft Office softwares.
  • Experience in compounding (training will still be provided to the successful applicants).
  • Experience in clinical trial environment, scientific or regulatory role with exposure to regulatory compliance.
