We are currently seeking an experienced qualified Tax Accountant / Bookkeeper to join our growing team in our City office.

Min 2-3 years Tax accounting firm experience essential.

The successful candidate will have:

  • The ability to reconcile bank accounts, prepare all types of Financial Statements, Income Tax Returns, Business Activity Statements and Installment Activity Statements
  • The ability to analyse financial statements and recommend improvement strategies
  • The ability to use various accounting packages including XERO, MYOB Systems Service (Accountants Enterprise), MYOB AccountRight and essentials , Excel and ATO Tax Agent Portal
  • Enjoy dealing directly with clients and possess good communication skills

Skills required are:

  • entering financial data leading to completing P&L and BSheet, BAS and tax returns.
  • Proficient in MYOB account right, essentials, XERO, , EXCEL and Word (vital Skills).
  • Further software such as payroller Xero payroll and a problem solver is an advantage.

THIS IS NOT A POSITION AS A COMPANY ACCOUNTANT

Position is part-time or contractor... work week is 4 days... with the opportunity to become full time.
