Accountant

Full-time permanent position in rapidly growing Australian owned business based in Parkinson, Qld.

Friendly & inclusive team, contemporary offices, modern equipment and advanced ERP system.

This hands-on role supports the Financial Controller in the day-to-day financial responsibilities and month end reporting processes to facilitate timely and well-informed management decision making. It includes but is not limited to:

· Fortnightly Payroll processing and administration

· Accounts Payable management

· Accounts receivable management

· General Ledger reconciliations

· ATO compliance including BAS returns

· Assist preparation of end of month and ad hoc reports

It is anticipated that the successful applicant will be:

Degree qualified

Experienced in Managing and Processing Payroll

Experienced working in a manufacturing environment and familiar with ERP systems (M1 experience would be beneficial)

Highly proficient with Excel and Office Suite programs

Highly organised with meticulous attention to detail

Able to effectively communicate and collaborate with various stakeholders and contributors

Able to work independently or collaboratively, confidently exercising attention to detail and employing analytical skills to resolve problems and implement continuous improvements

Must have eligibility and the right to work in Australia
