We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-orientated Accounts Assistant, to join our friendly and supportive team.

About Us

Niagara Therapy is a long-standing family business that has been providing health & mobility solutions for people with age related health concerns for over 50 years. We build high-quality therapy furniture and have a fun, supportive team. We operate from our purpose-built head office and manufacturing facility in Parkinson where there is parking onsite.

About the role

This role is focussed mainly on accounts payable, accounts receivable, and order entry in an environment where you can grow your skillset with ongoing training and support. This role will also provide cover for other Finance roles during periods of leave and participates in the Reception phone queue – a vital role to ensure our customers have a great experience with us.

No experience is necessary, however you must be able to demonstrate an interest in working in the field of finance, have demonstrated accuracy and efficiency in your work, have some administration experience with a knowledge of Word, Excel and preferably experience providing great customer service, with accuracy and efficiency

This is an attractive and flexible part time role working onsite up to 25 hours/week across 4-5 days.

Duties include assisting with the data entry requirements, customer collection and application processes, Order Entry, leave cover within the finance team, phone cover for reception and the client service teams.

About You

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently within a busy team and can take direction and follow procedures.

What we'd love to see:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly developed skills in participating as a member of a team to successfully achieve objectives that contribute to improved organisational performance.
  • Certificate III in Business is highly regarded.
  • Previous experience in an administration role is highly regarded.
