Located in Newcastle, supporting Newcastle Permanent Brand and products, you'll work closely with Mortgage Brokers to process loan applications, manage information requests, and ensure a seamless, compliant, and timely lending experience. Your commitment to accuracy, service, and teamwork will help drive great outcomes for both our brokers and customers.

What will your key responsibilities include?

  • Accurately enter mortgage loan applications and prepare loan files for credit assessment.
  • Liaise with Mortgage Brokers to ensure all loan documentation is completed accurately and efficiently, delivering a seamless service experience for our customers.
  • Support Brokers in structuring lending deals to achieve the best outcomes for customers.
  • Handle and resolve customer enquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
  • Contribute to business improvement initiatives by participating in project working groups, including test case development, user acceptance testing (UAT), and live testing.

What are we looking for?

  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills (both written and verbal), with the ability to build strong relationships and work collaboratively across teams.
  • Experience preparing and managing loan documentation, with a solid understanding of retail lending and credit policy.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial statements and structure complex mortgage lending deals.
  • Confidence using Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel, along with fast and accurate data entry skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail, time management and organisational skills.
  • Initiative and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently.
  • A team mindset and willingness to contribute to projects and process improvements.
  • FSRA Tier 2 accreditation (or willingness to obtain) and or Certificate IV in Credit Management highly desirable.
