About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled and dependable Power Station Operator Maintainer to join our operations team. This is a full-time position responsible for the day-to-day operation and maintenance of reciprocating gas generator units. If you have experience with gas-powered generators and a passion for operational excellence, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and monitor gas generator systems to ensure optimal performance
  • Conduct daily inspections, routine servicing, and preventative maintenance
  • Maintain accurate machine logs and operational records
  • Assist in scheduling service intervals and maintenance activities
  • Ensure the site remains clean, organized, and compliant with all safety regulations
  • Quickly identify and report equipment faults or irregularities
  • Available to work after hours on call and weekends as required.
  • Hold a relevant trade certificate for electrical qualifications

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience working with Caterpillar or Jenbacher gas-powered generators or similar power generation equipment.
  • Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills
  • Good understanding of safety protocols and site cleanliness standards
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a small, dedicated team
  • Reliable, proactive, and detail-oriented approach
  • Must have Australian work rights to be eligible for this position
