About the Role
As Operations Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day management of accounting and bookkeeping team, ensuring client needs are met with accuracy and efficiency. You will be instrumental in driving performance, streamlining operations, and supporting a culture of excellence across the business.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing and mentoring accountants and bookkeepers
- working closely with people and culture to support the team
- Overseeing workflows, deadlines, and client deliverables
- Driving operational efficiency and process improvements
- Supporting directors with strategic and business planning
- Building strong internal and external stakeholder relationships
- Ensuring high standards of compliance and service delivery
About You
We're looking for someone who is:
- Experienced in managing teams within public practice accounting (or similar)
- Confident in managing and motivating professional teams
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Proactive, adaptable, and commercially minded
- An excellent communicator who thrives in leadership roles
