About the role

This role provides families with a warm, welcoming and safe environment to participate in a range of skill-building activities. Developing and delivering activities in a holistic and family centred way, this role will play a key part in connecting the Warriapendi Child and Parent Centre, surrounding schools and the community.

About you

We are looking for someone who is passionate about working with children and families and can build strong, lasting relationships. You'll have experience and knowledge of working with diverse cultures and communities, as well as the Early Years Framework. You'll be innovative and flexible, proactively identifying the needs of the service as well as solutions.

In addition, you will also possess:

• Experience in community development, scheduling and delivery of programs
• Experience working with service users with complex needs
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build rapport with key networks such as schools and in the community
• Strong administrative skills including MS Office and other platforms
• Ability to work autonomously as well as contribute to team outcomes
• Working with Children Check (WWCC)
• National Police Clearance (obtained within the last six months)
