About the role
The Arts Programs Support Officer provides vital communications and administrative support to The Arts Unit's programs. In this role, you'll review and edit documentation to ensure compliance and best practice, assist with ministerial correspondence, and contribute to reporting and evaluation activities.
You'll also support the management of digital communications, including website and social media content, ensuring accessibility and effective engagement with schools and stakeholders. Working closely with program teams, you'll assist with strategic planning around communications and provide day-to-day administrative support to help deliver high-quality arts programs for students across NSW.

Key Knowledge and Experience
- Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department's Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department's Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.
Essential requirements of the role
- Current and valid Working with Children Check Clearance for paid employment.
- Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education.
