ABOUT THE ROLE:

This is a dynamic, client-facing sales role with a strong emphasis on business development across New South Wales. You'll be responsible for identifying and securing new opportunities while continuing to nurture relationships with existing clients in the architectural and design community.

You'll be the face of our high-end architectural lighting range, working closely with architects, lighting designers, specifiers, and design-focused builders to bring visionary lighting projects to life.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and executing a targeted sales strategy focused on A&D clients and project-based sales
  • Actively sourcing and converting new business leads into long-term partnerships
  • Managing the full sales cycle from pitch to close, including quoting, specification, and negotiation
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships within the architectural and design network
  • Providing consultative, technical, and design-aligned support to clients
  • Attending industry events, networking functions, and on-site meetings to promote the brand and drive specifications

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

We're seeking a confident and self-driven Business Development Manager with an established network in the architecture and design industry and a strong track record in on-road B2B sales.

You'll bring:

  • 2–5+ years of experience in business development or sales within lighting, architectural products, or design-led building materials
  • A strong network of architects, interior designers, specifiers, and lighting consultants
  • Experience managing a territory and driving business growth through proactive engagement
  • A solid understanding of the project specification process and construction timelines
  • A solutions-focused mindset with an eye for aesthetics and technical detail
  • Outstanding communication, presentation, and time-management skills
