About us

Chemwatch has been a leading provider in Chemical Management Systems for over 30 years. Specialising in chemical safety, we're an international company headquartered in Australia, with representatives in the United States, Europe, Middle East, and Asia. Chemwatch is also a Registered Training Organisation and offers training in accredited and non-accredited chemical safety training, as well as guidance in regulatory compliance and chemical management software.

Qualification & experience

  • Qualification majoring in Accounting or Business related field
  • A minimum of 2 to 3 years accounts experience
  • Knowledge of Internal Controls and Accounting Procedures
  • Must be driven, have determination, integrity, and good organizational, time management and reporting skills
  • Strong problem solving skills and ability to seek process improvements
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work autonomously and be self-motivated to achieve targets
  • Intermediate to Advanced Computer Skills (Excel)
  • Ability to communicate effectively (both written and verbal)
  • Demonstrated capability with MYOB and Xero are advantageous, but not essential

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Maintain up-to-date billing system and ensure correct prices in the system
  • Updating Special Prices/Deals given to customers in the system
  • Processing invoices accurately and within expected time periods
  • Perform account/debtors' reconciliations and research/resolve any payment or invoice discrepancies
  • Support the Accounts team with duties related to accounts payable and account receivable functions
  • Support the Accounts team and other teams by providing reports as required
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and operating procedures
  • Ad hoc filing or administrative duties as requested
