Park Regis Anchorage Townsville is a resort style hotel located on the quiet end of Palmer Street and is within walking distance of the busy restaurant and entertainment precinct and close proximity to QLD Country Bank Stadium.

We are currently seeking an energetic and passionate Front Office Receptionist to join our dedicated team on a casual basis. This position requires a confident, professional and well-organized person to deliver a high level of guest experience to our hotel guests and residents alike.

We are looking for someone who has hotel front office experience, a hands-on approach with great customer service and experience with;

  • Welcoming guests, guest interaction, handling guest requests.
  • Complete guest check in, check out, input of reservations and complete shift balancing and banking.
  • Maintaining accurate guest accounts and completing daily reports;
  • Confidently providing our guests with accurate information regarding the hotel, facilities and local area;
  • Working alongside housekeeping and maintenance to ensure both departments are aware of guest movements and requests
  • Maximize revenues through up-selling and loyalty programs.
  • General hotel reception duties.
  • Experience in RMS software is highly preferred but not essential as training can be provided.

To be successful in this role;

  • Ideally you will have relevant hotel experience and training in a Front Office Guest Service or Reception roll
  • Strong communication skills and highly developed organisational skills;
  • A passion for guest service and the desire to work in a hotel environment;
  • Excellent personal presentation and attention to detail;
  • Available to work Saturday and Sunday and during the week;
  • The ability to think on your feet and solutions focused approach to problem solving;
  • A willingness to assist and experience in housekeeping would be favorably looked upon.
  • A willingness to learn and grow.
  • Eligibility to work in Australia.
