Oz Education Early Learning Centres is dedicated to providing exceptional early childhood education in a nurturing and innovative environment, aiming to create lasting connections with families to support the growth and development of every child.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborating with internal teams to develop and maintain the marketing and community events calendar
  • Plan events, making necessary bookings ahead of time
  • Roster staff and brief them on the site plan, safety, parking, offers and lead gathering
  • Plan fun experiences for children and families from face painting to arts and crafts
  • Coordinate catering for open days according to number of registrations
  • Organise lead scanner/forms, furniture, decorations and display items at expos
  • Write compelling event listing descriptions to use across platforms – web, social, print and EDM
  • Provide events details and photos to web developer for web page and form creation.
  • Post events on Facebook Events, Google Events, Council websites, social media groups and online platforms (Eventbrite etc.)
  • Liaise with the Design Studio on the production of event flyers and posters; from creating clear design briefs, proofing artwork and getting them printed and distributed two weeks prior to an event.
  • Liaise with the Enrolments Manager on the production of event emails for distribution to parents on our database.
  • Create posters for the event and branded merchandise using Canva and AI tools.
  • Take photos of events/videos and post them on social media.
  • Report on outcome of events including improvements to programs and promotions.
  • Ensure the event decor, promotional videos and marketing displays are all set up prior to an event and packed, labelled and stored away after an event.
  • Manage the stock levels of branded merchandise and flyers, and reorder when needed
  • Execute distribution of flyers at local community services, events and businesses.
  • Support centres in planning and promoting local initiatives (e.g. flyer drops, local partnerships) including ordering and mailing of flyers and banners.
  • Administrative support like ordering marketing items for centres and their staff.
  • Provide support to the Marketing team when needed on ad-hoc graphic design, photography shoots and new marketing initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Communication, Marketing or related fields. Graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Experience in sales, promotions and event planning, preferably in the education sector or related industries.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences.
  • Flexibility to swap work days to enable working at weekend events.
  • Ability to travel out of Sydney and interstate for promotional events.
  • Ability to multi-task with a 'can-do' attitude.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to develop innovative promotional event strategies.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
