Join the NSW Department of Education as a Senior Liaison Officer (Clerk Grade 9/10)
We are excited to announce an opening for a Senior Liaison Officer within our Curriculum directorate.
- Location: Parramatta, with access to various NSW Education offices and flexible working arrangements available
- Salary: Clerk Grade 9/10 with base salary ranging from $129,464 to $142,665 per annum, plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading
- Temporary full-time opportunities up to four (4) years. Possibility for conversion to ongoing for temporary roles.

About the Curriculum directorate
The Curriculum directorate is responsible for supporting the implementation of policies and design of high-quality evidence-based resources and tools to support curriculum implementation across P-12. We coordinate special programs, and we lead the department's response to the NSW Curriculum Reform.
About the roles
The role is primarily responsible for developing, delivering and driving best practice communication strategies, tools and advice that support the organisational objective of curriculum business units. You will work with subject matter experts and stakeholders to design and develop evidence-led communication programs. You will collaborate with partners in Communication and Engagement directorate to provide seamless delivery of communications for internal customers and target audiences.

Key knowledge and experience:
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or demonstrated equivalent knowledge and /or experience
- Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department's Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department's Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.
Essential requirements:
- Hold a current and valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) for paid employment (or willing to acquire one)
- Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education
