Role impact & contribution
As the Manager, Departmental Liaison Officers (DLO), you and your team will work within Treasury ministerial offices and be the central point of contact between the Treasurer's and Minister for Finance's offices and NSW Treasury.
This is a high-profile role that interacts daily with ministers, ministerial staff, and senior department officials. It is the key conduct between Treasury and our ministerial offices and is an excellent opportunity to demonstrate your diplomacy and judgement, flex your critical thinking skills, and make a significant contribution to supporting the government of the day.
You will ensure the provision of high quality and timely advice on matters relevant to the Treasurer's and Minister's portfolios. You will lead a team responsible for the efficient and effective running of the office and will be involved in a broad range of initiatives including managing key elements of the Budget process for the Treasurer's Office.
You will be joining the Office of the Secretary and Ministerial Services Division and be located in the Treasurer's Office. Read more about your future Division.

- Understanding of the workings of government, including the role of the Treasurer, Ministers, departments and agencies, the role of the Treasurer's and Minister's office, parliamentary processes, and government protocols and procedures

- Exceptional communication and influence, with a proven ability to solve problems and deliver outcomes through collaboration, advocacy and personal impact
