About the Role
We are seeking a proactive Project Administrator to support our project delivery and procurement operations. This role will provide administrative and coordination support across multiple ongoing mining and infrastructure projects, ensuring accurate documentation, communication, and schedule control.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate project activities between engineering, procurement, logistics, and site-based teams.
- Maintain and distribute project documentation including schedules, reports, and meeting minutes.
- Support procurement processes, including purchase orders, quotations, and supplier communication.
- Monitor project progress, identify schedule variances, and assist in preparing status reports.
- Manage document control systems and ensure compliance with internal QA/QC and client reporting procedures.
- Organise project meetings, record minutes, and follow up on outstanding actions.
- Assist in preparing tenders, cost tracking, and progress claims.
Skills and Experience
- Diploma or higher qualification in Project Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- At least 1 year of experience in a project coordination or administrative role within mining, construction, or engineering.
- Strong communication and organisational skills, with attention to detail.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Project, Word) and document control systems.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced project environment.
- Mandarin language skills will be highly regarded due to regular communication with Chinese manufacturing partners.
Remuneration
- $77,000 per year
