The Department of Housing and Works delivers and maintains essential social housing and critical infrastructure across Western Australia—including schools, hospitals and police facilities.

About The Role:
The role leads a team responsible for the operational asset management of the Department of Housing and Work's (DHW) owned buildings and selected buildings within the leased portfolio, including managing contracts associated with facility management and minor office fit-outs to optimise the useful life of the asset while balancing cost, risk, and performance.
About You:
- You are a dynamic individual, who possesses significant leadership experience to inspire a team and deliver on various asset management activities.
- You will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, to develop and sustain collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- You will achieve quality outcomes, through exemplifying the Department of Housing and Works values and adopting a constructive, facilitative leadership style.
This position operates in the context of Leading Leaders. This means you will be required to deliver results through leaders and your teams in a single business area, and by influencing leaders in other business areas. You will add value by providing direction and developing and coaching your leaders to achieve operational objectives. You will make decisions about how services should be provided based on the resources at hand.
