They are committed to transforming Australia into a renewable energy superpower through innovative and reliable energy storage technologies.
Our client is seeking a
Mandarin-speaking Business Development Manager
to join their Australian team.
This role is ideal for a seasoned sales professional with a strong background in B2B sales and the renewable energy sector, particularly in managing indirect sales channels such as distributors and authorised dealers.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess partner businesses and co-develop strategies to incorporate and successfully sell residential energy storage products, delivering measurable P&L impact.
- Develop creative go-to-market strategies to acquire new accounts and expand the company's footprint.
- Represent the company at the forefront of product innovation within the renewable energy space.
- Drive revenue growth and increase market share within partner accounts, including but not limited to: Negotiating agreements ,Providing product and sales training, Introducing new product lines, Managing day-to-day commercial activities
- Manage a portfolio of existing customers to consistently achieve revenue targets and share goals.
Candidate Profile:
- Minimum of 5+ years experience in the renewable energy market.
- 10+ years of proven B2B sales experience in a high-tech industry, preferably dealing with electro-mechanical equipment/devices.
- Experienced in indirect sales channels, including distributors and authorized dealers.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance or a related discipline preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and grow a portfolio of partners to meet performance targets.
- Fluent in Mandarin and English (written and spoken).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) and Salesforce.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Results-driven and highly motivated, with the ability to thrive in complex sales environments.
- Proven territory planning and customer management skills.
