Job Description: Yard Team/Forklift Driver

We are seeking a versatile and dynamic individual to take on the responsibility for a Yard role at our Beerwah location. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills, a valid Car driver's license, and a forklift license. This role involves both sales responsibilities and yard duties, ensuring smooth operations and excellent customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate a forklift to load and unload materials
  • Restocking Hardware
  • Assist in loading customer orders
  • Picking and packing customer orders
  • Assist with manual handling of materials as required
  • Keep the yard clean and free of debris

Requirements:

  • Valid car driver's license
  • Valid forklift license
  • Previous experience in a yard operations role is preferred
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to perform physical labor and lift heavy objects
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
  • Commitment to safety and following safety regulations
