About the role

Are you an experienced Yard Person/Truck Driver/Crane Operator looking for a new full-time opportunity? Mick Murray Welding (N.T.)' is seeking an enthusiastic and capable Yard Person/Truck Driver to join our team based in Bohle, QLD.

What you'll be doing

  • Receiving and dispatching products, materials and equipment to and from the company's yard
  • Loading and unloading trucks and trailers
  • Operating a range of machinery and equipment within the yard to move and store goods
  • Transporting goods to and from customers and suppliers as required
  • Maintaining the yard and facilities in a tidy and organised manner
  • Providing general support to the wider operations team as needed

What we're looking for

  • Demonstrated experience as a Yard Person and/or Truck Driver, ideally in a similar manufacturing, transport or logistics environment
  • Our ideal candidate would have the following tickets/licences or a willingness to obtain them: MR/HC Licence, Forklift Licence, Non-Slew Mobile Crane Certification, Doggers or Riggers qualifications.
  • Strong customer service skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills
  • A commitment to workplace health and safety
