Are you the right fit?

You're enthusiastic, flexible and a fantastic multi-tasker with strong time management and communications skills. You're keen to share your passion and expertise in preparing nutritious meals, ideally gained in a childcare setting, and ready to positively impact children's health and wellbeing.

To be eligible, you'll need to demonstrate qualifications in food handling and an understanding of allergies and dietary requirements. A Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood is preferred. All applicants must hold a valid NSW Employee Working With Children Check and have relevant work experience as a Childcare Cook.

What will you do?
  • Hours of work: Full-time, Monday-Friday, between 7:30am to 3:30pm
  • Prepare morning tea, lunch & afternoon tea for children in line with dietitian's menu
  • Manage food budget, conduct food checks with Centre Manager & place weekly orders
  • Work both independently and as part of a broader team
  • Effectively adapt meals to cater for diverse dietary requirements
  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of NSW Food Authority guidelines
