Role Description

This is a casual position for a Disability Support Worker located in Glen Innes , NSW. The Disability Support Worker will be responsible for providing daily living assistance, supporting clients with their personal care needs, and ensuring their safety and well-being. The role also involves encouraging and supporting clients' participation in community activities and personal growth opportunities. The worker will strive to foster independence and self-empowerment in clients while maintaining a compassionate and professional demeanor.

Qualifications

  • Experience as a Support Worker with strong interpersonal skills and safeguarding knowledge
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with clients and their families
  • Technical support skills and the ability to use care management software
  • Relevant qualifications or training in disability support or related fields
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Previous experience in the NDIS environment is a plus
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
