An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a dynamic International Communication team with a leading global technology company based in Sydney. This role offers the chance to hone your marketing and coding skills while delivering impactful internal communications across the APAC region.

Reporting to the Director of Comms Tech, the
Email & Web Specialist
will be responsible for creating and deploying internal-facing marketing communications, managing email campaigns, and executing web strategies to support international communication programs and employee event registration. The role also involves developing tools, processes, and frameworks to drive best practices and operational efficiencies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to execute internal email campaigns
  • Manage email campaigns using a leading marketing platform, including setup, testing, deployment, and reporting
  • Develop and utilize coded email templates adhering to a strict and evolving brand style guide
  • Plan, maintain, and update email marketing calendars, identifying optimal send schedules
  • Create and manage automated, multi-touch, targeted email marketing campaigns
  • Partner with creative and marketing teams to optimize web assets, template design, and content
  • Recommend and implement email best practices while staying current with the latest email marketing trends
  • Use internal communication tools to send messages

Required Skills/Experience:

  • 4+ years of experience in Email Marketing or Database Marketing
  • Relevant BA/BS degree preferred
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SQL
  • Willingness to learn and apply HTML email best practices
  • Experience with email marketing platforms (experience with leading CRM and marketing cloud platforms is a plus)
  • Strong understanding of data segmentation and data-oriented mindset
  • Proven skills in data analysis and reporting
  • Team player with the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams
  • High-energy individual capable of managing multiple priorities under pressure in a fast-paced, evolving environment
