About Us

Primal Health Hub is a multidisciplinary injury management and rehabilitation service providing coordinated support across Workers' Compensation, CTP, NDIS and private clients. We focus on delivering person-centred, structured and outcome-driven care, supported by strong internal processes and established referral pathways.

We are seeking an experienced Counsellor to join our growing team and contribute to high-quality psychological support for clients recovering from injury or navigating complex circumstances.

About the Role

This role involves providing evidence-based counselling, therapeutic interventions and structured support to individuals under Workers' Compensation and CTP, with opportunities to work with NDIS and private clients as appropriate.

You will be part of a supportive, well-organised environment with flexibility in working arrangements and steady demand for psychological services.

This position is suitable for a contractor (50% split) or part-time clinician seeking flexibility and a consistent stream of referrals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide counselling and therapeutic interventions consistent with best practice
  • Support clients recovering from workplace or motor vehicle–related injuries
  • Prepare clear, structured clinical and progress reports as required
  • Maintain professional communication with stakeholders when appropriate
  • Assist in guiding clients through recovery and return-to-function goals
  • Contribute positively to a collaborative multidisciplinary team
About You

You will be someone who:

  • Holds relevant counselling qualifications and registrations - PACFA
  • SIRA-accredited Counsellor with relevant qualifications.
  • Is experienced in injury-related counselling (Workers' Compensation and/or CTP)
  • Communicates clearly and professionally
  • Produces structured, high-quality documentation
  • Works independently and manages caseload effectively
  • Brings experience with NDIS or private clients (desirable but not essential)
