Gilson College located in Taylors Hill is seeking expressions of interest in the role of Wellbeing Officer/Counsellor to join their team from 21 January This is a permanent part-time position of 38 hours per week during term time over 41 weeks per year with 4 weeks annual leave.

Key Responsibilities

As a member of our team you will work closely with the wellbeing team, classroom teachers, and families to provide specialist support to improve educational outcomes for students.  This includes modelling strategies that support positive learning and behaviour outcomes, working with teams to plan interventions and track progress, and the provision of counselling services for students.

Application Requirements

The successful applicant will hold a qualification in Psychology and/or Counselling and be able to demonstrate three to five years? industry experience.

Competencies include; excellent communication, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills and the ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
