The Role:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Lead to oversee the maintenance operations at our Kemps Creek site. This role requires a hands-on approach and a strong background in industrial electrical work. The ideal candidate will possess an electrical license, have previous industrial electrical experience, and some experience with robotics is highly desirable.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the site maintenance team, providing assistance and leadership.

  • Attend breakdowns, perform electrical installations, repairs, preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance.

  • Ensure conformance to statutory and company-approved Safe Operating Procedures.

  • Maintain accurate historical records for all areas of maintenance using both electronic and manual reporting systems.

  • Participate in daily/weekly site meetings and work closely with the site leadership team.

  • Organize and supervise contractors while on site.

  • Reorder parts, book new parts into store, and conduct stores stock take.

  • Head up bar coding of parts and lead Workshop 5S initiatives.

  • Review PMs and update with Planner, assist in planning maintenance shuts.

  • Provide support to operations and ensure minimal unplanned stoppages and breakdowns.

  • Maintain a safe and injury-free workplace for all employees, contractors, and visitors.

Your Qualifications:

  • Holder of a current unrestricted Electrical Licence.

  • Holder of a current Australian Electrical trade certificate.

  • Thorough understanding of the current Australian electrical wiring rules.

  • 5 years of experience working as an electrical tradesman in a production environment.

  • Experience with electrical fault finding and repair.

  • Understanding of lean manufacturing principles including 5S, TPM, and Root Cause Analysis.

  • Experience with robotics is highly desirable.

  • Strong time management and prioritizing skills.

  • High-level communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Ability to read and understand workshop drawings.
